    The Taco is getting 35's

Teaser shot Looks way more dramatic because the fenders aren't cut.

Started the fenders today. I only did the rear. I'm tearing into the front this weekend cause its going to take the longest..
Originally I was going to trim them with a dremel but I burnt through 1 disc in like 3" of metal. So I stepped it up to my angle grinder. It didn't come out perfect but after I got back from testing the fit I smoothed it a bit with a flap disc. I also didn't have to trim the rear bumper at all!
After I got it looking pretty good I put some clear silicone on the edge and threw some door edge guard from Orieleys over the edge. Came out GREAT!

BTW. These tires mounted on a 16X8 with 35PSI measure exactly 35" with no weight on them.

Troy, you owe me money for broken parts. After all, had you not stepped it up. I probably wouldn't have. Your gonna need 37's to keep up with me now

I like the rims, a classic look and the silver works with the green on the truck.

Do you have to trim the foot well at all to make these fit, or just the fender?

I like the rims, that's all that matters At least I didn't paint them black.

Yes Keith, in the front I'm going to end up tubbing the firewall back a bit. And trim the fenders. Thats this weekend.

Do you have to trim the sliders as well? I see they've been removed.

TBH, I don't think I would have had to trim them, they were quite short. Though, I have seen some people have to cut their sliders back an inch or two up front when installing 35's.

I cut the sliders off because the passenger side bent up into the cab not allowing the door to open. Installation error, didn't install the scab plates on the frame. Live and learn.

I have new legs, scab plates, and gussets waiting. I'll re install the sliders once I'm done getting these tires fitted.

Looks good scuba, though I am surprised you went with a 16" rim,
Any reason why? And how about the tire choice?

I will be behind you soon, after I get my front diff here and the alignment back in...
