I'm pretty sure I've seen those on a 3rd gen on the T4R board.. No pic to link though.

I think these is the one

Looks like they fit on his 4runner without spacers according to his writeup. They don't look that bad.

Pretty sure I've seen those Tacoma rims on a 1st gen Tacoma.

This is probably not pertinent info, but I'm running '08 Tacoma rims on my '90 4Runner. They fit fine, although the tires are a bit close to the sway bar links.

Mastacox is running the FJ Cruiser rims on his 3rd gen too, although I'm not sure if he's using wheel spacers.

I have those installed on my 1st Gen taco. They are 2nd gen rims.

Pretty much all 16" and 17" Taco and 4Runner aluminum rims are interchangeable. They all use the same bolt pattern and lug nuts.

I vote NAY on those 4Runner rims you posted, I never liked them. I vote for the Tacoma rims I quoted. They should be easier to find too.

I agree, I like the Taco ones way better.

You could have always painted the 4Runner rims, which I probably would have done.
But if I had the choice I would go with the Tacoma Rims

Nay to both. Both rims have a 5.25" BS, meaning they will be sucked in on your limited flares. I've had the taco TRD rims on my 4runner before and eventually swapped them out for LC rims.

Don't get me wrong, they look sweet on 3rd gens, they are just set too narrow. The tacos rims will be made into a coffee table.

You'll notice the inset on this last picture. I'm also running 235/85's.
